Dans le "Lammas"...

Pourquoi sans "h"? Si je me rappelle bien, dans la Route Perdue, c'est bien Lhammas non?

The History of Middle-earth, volume V, The Road Goes Ever On, chapitre V, The Lhammas (p. 167, l'emphase en gras est mienne) :

There are three versions of this work, all good clear manuscripts, and I think that all three were closely associated in time. I shall call the first Lhammas A, and the second, developed directly from it, Lhammas B; the third is distinct and very much shorter, and bears the title Lammasethen. Lhammas A has now no title-page, but it seems likely that a rejected title-page on the reverse of that of B in fact belonged to it. This reads:

The Lammas
Or ‘Account of Tongues' that Pengolod of Gondolin wrote afterward in Tol-eressëa, using in part the work of Rúmil the sage of Kôr

The title-page of Lhammas B reads:

The ‘Lhammas’

This is the ‘Account of Tongues' which Pengoloð of Gondolin wrote in later days in Tol-eressëa, using the work of Rúmil the sage of Tûn. This account Ælfwine saw when he came into the West

The History of Middle-earth, volume X, Morgoth's Ring, Part V, Myths Transformed (p. 415) :

To one of the title pages my father subjoined the following:
To which is added an abbreviation of the Ósanwe-kenta or ‘Communication of Thought’ that Pengolodh set at the end of his Lammas or ‘Account of Tongues'

The History of Middle-earth, volume XI, The War of the Jewels, The Later Quenta Silmarillion, Part Two, (p. 206) :

§8 Here end the words that Pengolod spoke to me concerning the Dwarves, which are not part of the Pennas as it was written, but come from other books of lore, from the Lammas, the Dorgannas, and the Quentalë Ardanómion: quoth Ǽlfwine.

à quoi correspondent les documents R-10/15/17? Ils ont été publiés dans les PE ou alors ce sont des manuscrits qu'EJK a étudié à Marquette?

L’auteur aurait dû expliquer ici ce que sont ces « documents R-10, R15 et R-17 ». Il s’agit en fait de documents parus dans la revue américaine spécialisée Parma Eldalamberon n°13 (pp. 44, 62-3 & 66-71, respectivement).

R pour Rúmil ou Alphabet de Rúmil.

De plus, j'ai comme l'impression que les caractères ont eu des problèmes d'impression, ils se trouvent tous calés à la gauche de leur cellule dans le tableau.

C'est un mode d'écrire des Sarati, à la verticale, collées à une ligne verticale.
