Citation :The Children of Húrin Paperback Release Party is an online event to celebrate the publication of The Children of Húrin Paperback Edition by Houghton Mifflin, the new book by J.R.R. Tolkien, first released on Tuesday 17th April 2007 in hardback edition.
The event will take place online on October 14, 2008 and is being organized by TolkienLibrary.com and Houghton Mifflin.
Next to chatting there will be giveaways and a Q&A with special guest Alan Lee.

Alan Lee
Alan Lee is an English artist best known for illustrating the 1991 one-volume hardback edition of The Lord of the Rings. He was one of the two lead concept artists for the 'Lord of the Rings' movie trilogy; Alan Lee won an Academy Award in 2004 for his work on 'The Return Of The King'. After the movies his Lord of the Rings Sketchbook was a major bestseller and in 2007 Alan Lee illustrated the Children of Hurin and also the cover image was by his hand. In 2008 the illustrated version of The Tales of the Perilous Realm will be released, which will also be illustrated by him. He will probably also be asked to be working on the new The Hobbit movies and his art will there fore be seen for many years to come!
