Your member makes some very interesting comments and observations. I
have nothing to object to any of them, and I am glad that this old paper
of mine can spur some debate. It is more than a decade since I wrote it;
since then both my analytical and my graphical skills have increased
significantly. If I ever return to this subject matter the result will
probably be a very different study. But for now I settle with
congratulating the Tolkiendil community on its astute and learned members.
