Et pourtant, on n'en sait rien... Par contre, plus intéressant, on a une illustration de Barad-dûr par Tolkien lui-même, publiée dans J.R.R. Tolkien : Artiste et illustrateur (fig. 145, corrigez-moi si je me trompe). Une reproduction ici, par exemple.
