Tel que c'est formulé, je comprend plutôt qu'il faudrait traduire dans un style germanique, à partir de racines germaniques, non ? Il doit certainement y avoir quelques patois germanisants de part not' bonne vieille France qui ont des mots pour "robe" et "ombre grise"... qui aurait mieux rendu qu'un bête poil gris -- je partage l'avis de Tilkalin sur ce point : Gripoil, ça irait très bien pour un autre cheval de Tom Bombadil, compagnon de Gros-Balourd, mais pour un cheval d'une telle ascendance, c'est un peu moyen, quand même ...
