D'autre part, un fait d'importance : la 1ère conférence internationale sur les langues inventées de Tolkien va se tenir du 4 au 8 août prochains à Stockholm. Voici le message issu de la liste de diffusion elfling :

If you plan to be a part of this history it's time to make your
travel plans (or at least to send a paper for inclusion in the
program).

Here's what you can look forward to (or soon, will be looking back
on):

o Meet, work, and break bread with leaders in the field of Tolkien
linguistic scholarship.

o Listen to and discuss presentations on various aspects of Tolkien's
invented languages.

o Participate in workshops and discussion panels. Breakthroughs in
knotty areas of Elvish scholarship are possible when you get a dozen
passionate intelligent people working face-to-face!

o Experience Quenya as a language of art at our Elvish poets circle.

o There will be at least one opportunity to try your skill at using
spoken Quenya to communicate effectively!

o Come with us on a field-trip to the king-mounds at Uppsala (very
similar to the mounds at Edoras).

o Take a rune-stone excursion.

o Help plan for the future of Omentielva. We will announce the
location of the 2007 conference and work together to plan the
conference in 2009.

I'm looking forward to the chance to meet many of you in person. If
you're coming, I'll see you there!
