Et évidemment, ce n'est que maintenant que je déniche cet article de Kristine Larsen ("‘Ore-ganisms’: The Myth and Meaning of ‘Living Rock’ in Middle-earth", Journal of Tolkien Research, vol. 13 issue 2, 2021) - La contradiction apparente évoquée ci-dessus y est (sommairement) mentionnée en p. 9-10.
