Je ne pense pas qu'il y ait donc une erreur de traduction.
Mais maintenant, est-on sûr que les nains aient touchés le silmaril ? Je ne me souviens plus trop bien de ce passage, mais pourquoi les nains n'auraient-ils pas conçu le Nauglamir pour que Thingol puisse y cerner le Silmaril lui-même. Je dis ça sans me souvenir du passage, ce n'est donc qu'une hypothèse sans trop de fondement.
