Pour Morgoth, le problème n'était pas de faire passer son armée : c'était de savoir où était Gondolin. Bien sûr, le terrain n'est pas propice à une attaque, mais ça, Morgoth s'en fout, il a de l'Orque à volonté dans ses tunnels.
