moi je pencherais pour une autre gemme au départ puisque Feanor l'aurait lui meme façonnée

mais qui sait si cette gemme feanoriene eut été simplement trouvée (comme on trouve dans des cavernes de Troll des épées de Gondolin) ou excavée par les nains.... perdue par une compagnie d'elfes du premier age ???

sinon c'est vrai que la ressemblance est frapante avec l'arkenstone:
