Ho! Ho! Ho! to the bottle I go
To heal my heart and drown my woe.
Rain may fall and wind may blow,
And many miles be still to go,
But under a tall tree I will lie,
And let the clouds go sailing by.

Ho ! Ho ! Au flacon je men vais puiser
De quoi soulager mon cur éprouvé.
La pluie et le vent peuvent sacharner
Et beaucoup de lieues être à sillonner,
Sous un large tronc je vais mallonger
Et laisser là-haut les nimbes voguer.

Peut-être un peu "sérieux" comme traduction pour quelque chose qui est quand même une chanson à boire. Mais c'est très poétique. et très joli

C'est un poème qui résume bien les vacances ! Ca oblige à la détente et à la sérénité ...
